What a call-out costs,before you ring.
The call-out covers travel and the first hour on site, including finding the fault. If a part is needed, you get the price before it goes in.

What is included
Travel within the patch, parking, testing, the certificate where one is needed, and clearing up after myself.
What is not
Parts beyond the usual van stock, plastering or redecorating after a chase, and scaffold or tower hire on high work.
How to pay
Card, bank transfer or Apple and Google Pay on the day. Landlords and agents invoiced on 14-day terms.
VAT
Prices include VAT at 20% — confirm whether the business is VAT registered and I will adjust the wording.
Questions
About charges
Do I pay if you cannot fix it?
No. If I cannot find or fix the fault, the call-out is not charged. If it needs a part I am not carrying, I make everything safe and come back at an agreed price.
Is the quote fixed?
Yes for quoted work — the price I give you in writing is the price you pay, unless you change what you want. Hidden problems behind a wall get discussed before anything else happens.
Do you charge for travel?
Not within Witney, Oxford and the villages on the areas page. Further out, I will tell you on the phone before agreeing to come.
What does the call-out fee cover?
Travel, parking and the first hour on site, including finding the fault. Parts and anything beyond the first hour are priced before they happen.
